According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of  China, from October 11 to 12, 2018, the 17th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (Premier) was held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. Foreign Minister Swaraj of the Republic of India, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sarkinayev, Premier of the State Council of  China Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Abul Gaziev, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Qureshi, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Government Dvedev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Rasulzoda and Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alibov attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the heads of delegations exchanged views on current international and regional economic development issues in a constructive atmosphere and discussed the prospects and measures for deepening economic and humanistic cooperation under the SCO framework to further consolidate the mutual Understanding and traditional friendship.

The meeting issued the "Joint Communiqué of the Seventeenth Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (Prime Minister)".
