      Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is an important platform for strengthening the security, economic, social and cultural exchanges and cooperation of Asian countries. It has developed five areas of confidence-building measures, including ecology.

      The guiding principles of CICA and Belt and Road initiative are highly in line with each other. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Belt and Road initiative.

      To promote environmental policy dialogue, technique exchange, and develop cooperation of environmental protection within the CICA framework, and in order to promote “joint discussion, co-construction and sharing” of the green Belt and Road, under the guidance of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of People’s Republic of China, China Center for SCO Environmental Cooperation is expecting to host CICA international environmental protection cooperation activities in Fuzhou, China on November 28th -30th ，2018. The activities include CICA Environmental Planning and Policy Symposium, International Environmental Technique Exchanging Symposium, along with related visiting and investigation activities on the achievements of Ecological Construction in China. Tentative agenda is as shown in Annex 1.

      We sincerely invite you to nominate delegates to attend and deliver valuable speeches. Economy class air tickets (international flight), accommodation, and airport shuttle will be covered for 2 speakers. More delegates are welcome to attend at their own expense.
