2. Major environmental problems to be addressed

Emission control of particulate matter, SO2, NOx and other pollutants in flue gas from the coal-fired power plant.

3. Technological process

The flue gas denitration technology, low-low temperature electric precipitation technology, flue gas desulfurization technology and wet electrostatic dust removal technology are integrated through synergestic configuration to remove pollutants such as NOx, flue dust, SO2, PM2.5, SO3 and mercury.

4. Environmental standards and/or main index limits to be followed

Given that the total sulfur content is no more than 0.8% and the ash content no more than 18% in the coal, the ultra-low emission limit of the coal-fired power plant will be implemented, with the emission concentration of particulate matter at the chimney outlet5 mg/m3, SO2 emission concentration35 mg/m3, NOx emission concentration50 mg/m3, and SO3 (no more than 5 mg/m3, mercury and its compounds (no more than 3 µg/m3) will be removed together.

5. Environmental pollution control effects

The emission concentration of particulate matter at the outlet of the chimney was5 mg/m3, the emission concentration of SO2 was35 mg/m3, the emission concentration of NOx was50 mg/m3, the emission concentration of SO3 was5 mg/m3, and the emission concentration of mercury and its compounds was3 µg/m3.

6. Investment and operation cost

The project investment was about RMB 194.5 million, with the unit investment of RMB 194.50/kWh.

Case highlights: The project adopts a typical ultra-low emissions process route for flue gas from the coal-fired power plant, and is the “National Demonstration Coal-Fired Power Plant for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction” of the State Energy Administration.
